Katala’s subscription cost is priced per licence, a licence is attributed to a user. If your organisation is subscribed to one of Katala’s paid-plans, each user must have an active licence to access your organisation’s Katala instance.
Users can be activated or deactivated on your organisations subscription at any time.
If your organisation subscribes annually, new users will be billed pro-rata for the number of months their licence will be active. If a paid user is deactivated, their licence can be transferred to a replacement user.
If your organisation subscribes monthly, new users will be billed for each billing period their account is active. If a paid user is deactivated, their licence fee will not be included in the next billing period.
Subscribers to one of Katala’s paid-plans will benefit from a discounted price, saving around 20% of the equivalent monthly price.
Your organisation will be billed via invoiced for your chosen subscription.

Organisations choosing to try out one of Katala’s paid-plans for the first time will be entitled to a 30-day free trial of their chosen plan.

To cancel your Katala subscription, simply submit a request to cancel 5 working days ahead of your next billing period.
Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds of user licences for Katala’s paid-plans. However, you can transfer any available licence on your subscription to a new user.
