Create New Contact

The Create New Contact Sidebar can be accessed from a number of locations:

  1. From the Create button:
    1. Click on Create Icon on the navigation bar.
    2. Click on Contact.
    3. The Create New Contact sidebar is displayed.
  1. From the Contacts page:
    1. Click on Add.
    2. The Create New Contact sidebar is displayed.
  1. From Quick Search:
    1. Click into the Search… field on the Navigation Bar.
    2. Enter the name of the Contact you are searching for.
    3. If the contact cannot be found an option to add a new contact is displayed.
    4. Click on + Add “contact name” as a Contact.
    5. The Create New Contact sidebar is displayed.

Create New Contact Sidebar

  1. Complete the form.
  2. Click on Create.
  3. The new contact is created.

Form Fields

Basic Details

  • Name (required): The name of the contact.
  • Associated Emails: The email address for the contact. Multiple emails can be added.
  • Positions: The contact’s job title, department and organisation they are linked with. Multiple organisations can be added.
  • Tags: Adding tags to the contact will help when searching for information or creating reports at a later date.

Additional Details

  • Description: Description of the contact.
  • Type: The type of contact.
  • Key Users: The user who will be the contact’s key relationship holder. Multiple names can be selected.
  • Interest Level: The contact’s interest level.
  • Influence Level: The contact’s influence level.
  • Contact Frequency: How often the contact is to take place (this option is only displayed once a key user has been selected).
  • Contact Period: Length of time between each contact (this option is only displayed once a key user has been selected).

Contact Details

  • Addresses: Main addresses for the contact.
    • Google Address: Begin to type in the address. Google will list matching addresses below the address field. Select the required address and it will be added to the address field.*
    • Manual input: Type the entire address into the address field.
  • Phone Numbers: Main phone numbers for the contact.
  • Email Addresses: Additional email addresses for the contact.
  • Social Profiles: Main social profile URLs for the contact.
  • Websites: Main website URLs for the contact.
